Does quartz need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is nonporous, so it never needs sealing — a quick wipe with mild soap and water keeps it looking new.
Is quartz heat resistant?
Quartz handles everyday warmth well, but we recommend using trivets or hot pads, since sudden extreme heat can damage the resin that binds it.
Quartz or granite — which should I choose?
Quartz is more uniform and maintenance-free; granite is a natural stone with one-of-a-kind veining. We are glad to show you both and help you decide.
