Granite Countertops in Salt Lake City — No Two Slabs Alike

Custom granite countertops, fabricated and installed by our family shop in Murray, Utah. Every slab is one of a kind — we help you choose it, then template, cut, and install it ourselves.

Why homeowners choose granite

  • Natural stone — no two slabs alike, with rich veining and depth.
  • Extremely durable and heat-resistant for everyday kitchen use.
  • Sealed on installation to resist stains and moisture.
  • Adds lasting value and a premium look to your home.

What we do

We handle the whole job in-house: laser templating, fabrication, edge profiling (eased, bullnose, ogee, or a mitered waterfall), professional installation, and sealing — so the finished counter fits perfectly and lasts.

About natural granite

Granite is a natural stone quarried in blocks and cut into slabs, which is why no two slabs are ever the same — each one carries its own color, crystals, and movement. Sealed on installation, granite shrugs off heat, scratches, and everyday use, which makes it a favorite for hard-working kitchen countertops.

Colors and edges

From dramatic black-and-gold to soft grays and warm creams, we help you pick a slab that works with your cabinets and lighting. We finish the edge however you like it — eased, bullnose, ogee, or a mitered waterfall — and polish clean cutouts for your sink and cooktop.

Free estimates — and what affects the price

We quote after a free, no-obligation measure. Your price depends on square footage, the granite slab you choose, the edge profile, and any cutouts. You get a real number for your project — no surprises.

Granite countertop FAQ

Does granite need to be sealed?

Yes. We seal your granite on installation, and a quick reseal every year or two keeps it stain-resistant. It only takes minutes.

How long does the process take?

After a free in-home measure and template, fabrication typically takes about a week, and installation is usually done in a single day.

Is granite heat and scratch resistant?

Very. You can set hot pans on it and it resists scratches, though we still recommend trivets and cutting boards to keep it perfect.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes — measuring and estimates are free. Tell us about your project and we will follow up to confirm a visit.

How much do granite countertops cost?

It depends on the size, the slab you choose, the edge, and cutouts. We measure for free and give you a real quote — not a number pulled out of the air.

Is granite good for kitchen countertops?

Very. Granite resists heat and scratches and, once sealed, stands up to daily kitchen use for years. It's one of the most popular kitchen stones in Utah.
